Congratulations, you have been selected as a Top 20 Finalist in the 12th Annual “Unisong” International Song contest. This year featured a very high overall quality of songs and writers, with diverse and varied entries from a multitude of countries representing every continent on Earth except Antarctica (any songwriting penguins out there?). The judging therefore was extremely competitive and to be singled out anywhere in the top 15% of all songs submitted was no easy feat. A.R. SCOTT/”UNISONG”...created for songwriters...by songwriters. Check out the following great reviews of “Fall for Me”:
"Throaty warm vocals caress the ear in CAROLINE TAYLOR-KNIGHT's debut CD release Fall for Me. Caroline has a contemporary sound that is definitely on the edge of crossover pop, but the pleasure of her vocals and the sensitive production and backing more than cover the purist's murmurings. Piano and strings play a big part in the backing with nary a banjo or a fiddle to be heard (if you don't count violin.) The title track Fall for Me is tender and charming. Caroline wrote or co-wrote each of the 11 tracks with the exception of the TEXAS classic I Don't Want A Lover. The sweet intensity of Where Do I Run? is so lovely, as it the exhilarating Loving You. Kite is another spirit lifting track you can listen to it over and over. The songs are beautiful - not traditional, but there's plenty of room for contemporary country." Capital News.
“Fall for Me is the debut album for talented newcomer Caroline Taylor-Knight. All but one of the songs have been penned by Caroline who has already been nominated for songwriting awards. Her voice has a depth and feeling, and at times an appealing sweetness, while at other times it is throaty and sensuous. Caroline’s style is contemporary rather than traditional country and Where Do I Run? could easily sit comfortably on the pop charts. Dance with Me is sung with intensity but Caroline also displays an uplifting spirit on the song Kite. This is not the album for those who are looking for traditional country instrumentation; it’s more about orchestration creating the mood. Fall for Me is produced by Caroline’s husband, award winning producer Duncan Wood.” Country Update.
